Q : I can't wait! When do we get our photos?
I always send a highlight gallery the week after because I'm just as excited as you to share them. For weddings, I offer a 3 month delivery deadline. More often than not, you won't have to wait that long, but it all depends on how many photos we have taken. I edit everything myself. I sharpen, color correct, crop, and remove - yes - lots of photoshop so that you get clean memories of your day without all the unnecessary clutter. Portraits are delivered within 4-6 weeks.
Q : How can you help us feel less awkward in front of the camera?
Believe me when I tell you everyone feels this way. The only way to even begin to feel natural is to find a photographer you trust. I'm a firm believer that anyone, yes, anyone, can look immaculate in a photo. Any photographer can pose, but getting to know your clients and understanding what makes them truly smile and feel comfortable is a directing talent. I feed off of your energy, so together we'll find what works best for you.
Q : Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! For weddings, you pay a retainer of 30% and then the remainder gets split into monthly installment payments charged on the 1st of each month. For portraits, 50% is due up front to book, and the remainder is due 2 days prior to the session. You are always welcome to pay everything up front or create a payment plan that works best with your schedule as well. Let's talk it out! :)
Q : Do we own the rights to the images?
When you receive your gallery, you will also receive a photo release form for personal usage rights. This means you are free to share, print, and enjoy your photos for personal purposes.
The copyright remains with Elizabeth Greve Photography. This gives me permission to use the images in my portfolio, on my website, and for promotional materials.

Q : What services do you offer?
I specialize in weddings and lifestyle/family sessions. However, more recently, I have been covering events such as rehearsals, corporate parties, and showers. I love engagement sessions and honestly any kind of portrait session where we don't have a time limit and we can have fun, enjoy the day, and take as many photos as we want. Family sessions are also my favorite. I love to goof off with the kids and get those silly smiles in between the pretty posed family portraits.
Q : How long have you been a photographer?
In May of 2025, I will have been a photographer for 16 years! It honestly still feels like I started this all yesterday. I started taking family portraits and covered my first wedding right after I graduated with my digital photography degree from Harrington College of Design in Chicago. I've worked solo and with a lot of other amazing photographers. 15 years seems like a long time, but in this job, you are never the best or know more than the next. I am constantly learning and improving and meeting new people, traveling to new places, and covering different cultural events that help me grow more as a human being.
