Woodland Inspired Bridal Shoot in Woodstock, IL

This spring I once again collaborated with Kristin from Petals n’ Bloom to create another unique bridal stylized shoot.  We wanted to create a wedding scene that used nature’s surroundings as our palate while picking colors for the table settings and flowers.  The shoot took place out in Woodstock, IL at Pleasant Valley Conservation Area Stone Amphitheater in McHenry County.  It takes about 90 minutes to get here from Chicago, but the views were worth the drive.

I was so excited to see the finished products that Kristin and I had been discussing for the few weeks prior to the shoot date.  Kristin always amazes me with her designs and this time really surprised us all as you can see when you scroll down.  We also received beautiful calligraphy work from The Constant Scribe as seen on the table cards and menu.  Our models, Laura and Mick, were wonderful to work with and really helped in creating truly beautiful portraits of a couple just married. 😉  Kristin’s daughter Lily was our very own flower girl and her beautiful sister Margo was our bridesmaid for the day.

We had beautiful weather working for us and even witnessed a gorgeous sunset just in time to wrap up the shoot.  I had so much fun creating these images and cannot thank our volunteers and vendors enough for their participation and patience throughout the day.  I am really proud of these pictures and hope everyone enjoys them! 🙂
