The Arabians : Chicago Family Session at Montrose Harbor

A gorgeous Sunday afternoon in Chicago.  It doesn’t get much better…unless you get to spend it with your family and take pictures of them all. 😉

We never know what to expect with their family session as kids will be kids.  It’s the same with every family I meet.

Kids have a mind of their own and that means they won’t always just sit still and smile.

To me though, this can make for some of the best ‘REAL-LIFE‘ pictures.  When I posted their Facebook SNEAK PEEK (keep scrolling down) I captioned it :

‘Now this is a true family portrait!’

It’s the truth.  When you can capture all of the personality and character of each person in one picture, then a great picture is made.  And boy oh boy does this family have character!

This is my family : The Arabian’s

Carlo + Sarah + Kaiyane + Raffi + Kami

<3

Carlo – The Arabian King of Chicago! 😉

Baba and his boy.

We couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day and skyline!

🙂 🙂 🙂

My beautiful sister Sarah. <3

Kami & Mama squinting at the sun.

Kai and her Baba.

The lovely ladies.

See what I mean by character?

LOVE these faces! 🙂

Kaiyane Elizabeth <3

Kami Alise : Always in her own world. <3

There is something I just love about this randomness.

I took a lot of pictures ‘in-between‘.

Sometimes, they are the best ones!

Kami is always proving she can climb any obstacles.

Raffi is always exploring.

Kai is our lady.  She is 7 going on 30!

The mama & the baba. 🙂

Then we sat around and starting making jokes.

The kids couldn’t stop laughing.

🙂

🙂

🙂

Our beautiful Kai Kai : Our Chicago ballerina.

Raffi William : Our Arabian Ninja! <3 <3 <3

My buddy boo.  So much love for this kid!!!

Kami : Just standing around doing her own thing. 😉

You have to keep up with this one…always on the move!

Sisters! <3 <3 <3

The lovely ladies.

Raffi & his baba. <3

And where do the kids get a lot of their character?

Baba, I see you. 😉

The first! <3 <3 <3

Checking out Lake Michigan.

These two…

6 years of marriage + 3 kids = 🙂

Let’s all get together now for a group picture.

I couldn’t stop laughing!

Their ‘True family portrait‘ 😉

Oh to be a kid again…although I think Baba always tries to be. 😉

Sisters doing their own thing.

🙂

🙂

🙂

Beautiful Kai.  Always striving for perfection not knowing she is already.

Raffi is always thinking.  I believe he will conquer the world one day. 😉

Kami doesn’t like hair clips.  She let’s it all hang out. 😉

I honestly think this describes her perfectly.  No fear, just be yourself and go crazy!

Such a beautiful family!

I don’t know what is funnier : Raffi’s forehead pose with Mama, Kai’s reaction to seeing it, or Kai being Kai!

<3 <3 <3

Baba caught a Kami fish!

Everyone get in line…mama has an idea! 😉

The Arabian march!

Before heading home, we went searching for apples.

Love these two!

Sometimes I let my family work the camera’s. 😉

Me and my seesta! <3

Being an Auntie (Auntie Bebbie) is for sure one of my favorite roles in this life! <3

To my Arabians :

I’ll love you forever & always!  Thank you for always making me smile and laugh.

I am truly lucky to be your Auntie Bebbie!
