When I first met up with Jordin and Nick to finalize their wedding booking and get to know them, I felt like we had been friends for years. They were so easy to talk to and honestly two of the sweetest people. They also happened to bring their dog Copper along and when they mentioned bringing him for their engagement pictures, I got even more excited. Check out how cute they all were HERE.Their engagement session happened to be on a very cold day in Chicago, quite the opposite of their wedding. But regardless of cold or extreme heat, these two never complained. They smiled and laughed and just enjoyed each other. Jordin and Nick, you two were such a joy to photograph and I loved being a part of your amazing day! <3

READ A LITTLE ABOUT JORDIN & NICK:
Q. When did you meet? Where?
A. May 11, 2013 at the Brad Paisley concert at the Sweet Spot bar
Q. When did you get engaged? Where?
A. February 11, 2017 in our backyard.
Q. How did the proposal happen?
A. Nick had friends wrap our pavilion with lights while we were at dinner and when we got back I went upstairs and came down to him in the middle of the pavilion on one knee with our dog, Copper. Copper had a sign on him that said will you marry my dad?
Q. What’s one thing about your spouse that made you realize you wanted to marry them?
A. Jordin: Nick loved me for me. Never wanted to change me and didn’t mind my weirdness lol He’s my best friend. I couldn’t imagine my life without him.
Nick: Jordin is the most thoughtful and loving person I know. We always have a great time together and couldn’t imagine not having her by my side for the rest of my life.
Q. What was the most important aspect for you two when planning your wedding?
A. That we both enjoyed the day. We always hear how things get crazy that day and how fast it goes by! So we made sure we enjoyed every second of the day and had plenty of time to spend with everyone on the dance floor!
A. My family (Jordin) has been going to County Line since I was a little girl and my mom found out that they do weddings there so I did some research and realized that would be the perfect place for Nick and I!
A. Jordin : seeing nick for the first time and reading our letters to each other. It’s hard to pick just one haha I loved having all our friends and family in one place and our last dance song when everyone surrounded us and we all sang and danced.
Nick: Seeing Jordin for the first time and then enjoying how everything and everyone came together it was an awesome time the whole day/ night.
Q. What were the first dance songs?
A. It all started with a beer by Frankie Ballard: Bride and Groom
Handprints on the Wall by Kenny Rogers: Bride and Dad
Simple Man by Lynyard Skynard: Groom and Mom
Q. Where did you (or plan to) go for your honeymoon?
A. Bora Bora!! Started off in California for a couple days then went to Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora.
Q. Can you give any advice for future couples planning a wedding?
A. Relax! Don’t fight/stress about the little things. Everything about that day will be perfect! Make sure to step away and view all your guests enjoying your day. Get on the dance floor and make sure to eat your food and cake!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

I love getting to photograph at County Line. Everything is in one place and the apple orchards are so fun to explore!
And the donuts!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 YUM!!!The guys got ready at a hotel not too far away…While the girls got dressed upstairs at County Line. 🙂Jordin, you are STUNNING!Part of Jordin’s mom’s dress was sewn into hers. Love this idea! And to add to her ‘something borrowed’, she wore her sister’s veil. <3 <3 <3First moments with dad…And the FIRST LOOK in the apple orchard together.LOVED THIS MOMENT!!!They read their letters to each other WITH each other, which was such a cute idea.
And if you see them laughing it’s because they realized they basically wrote the same thing to one another. You two are adorable!I mean, how beautiful are these apple orchards for pictures?! You two look amazing! And then in came Copper for a few family pics! How cute are these pictures with him?! <3 <3 <3LOVE LOVE LOVE!Then in comes the big and beautiful wedding party!
Oh, and the adorable flower girl just stealing the show. (But wait until the ceremony.) 😉The lovely ladies!Someone was distracted by the bridal bouquet. LOL!The gents! That far right picture though…What is happening??? HA!Such a fun group!
Jordin, your smile is so contagious! I was smiling the entire time editing through these. 🙂Time for the ceremony!
Jordin and her dad were the last to arrive and got to have a few cute moments alone together. <3How gorgeous is this day and ceremony spot?!I mean, COME ON! <3 <3 <3LOVE THIS MOMENT (regardless if you see each other beforehand or not, this moment is ALWAYS special!)One of my favorite shots from the day!
I don’t always get to photograph this angle in a church, so I love getting to step outside the box (or behind it) and see the couple from the officiant’s view.See what I mean about making each other laugh? <3
Too cute!Oh, and it wasn’t just the flower girl stealing the show! 😉MARRIED!!!I love how happy they are here!!!See ya at the reception!JK, of course we did a few more pictures! 😉CHEERS to the newlyweds! That sun was starting to set just right and we all know how I feel about some amazing light! 😉
Check out these beautiful people! So happy and so gorgeous!LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!THAT LIGHT!!!And off to party the night away…Loved all of their gorgeous details. Oh, and those donuts at County Line are worth it EVERY TIME! 😉 Delicious!Such a beautiful venue!Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Lucca!!!!So many sweet and funny moments during the speeches. <3When I ask my couples if they want to head outside for sunset pictures during the reception (if possible and if there is time)…THIS IS WHY!!!
THAT SKY!!!!!!!!So AMAZING!Loved the bird’s eye view for their first dance under the lights. This dance floor was the BEST!
It was full literally the entire night!Instead of sparklers, they chose a glow stick grand exit that turned into a dance line! HA! So much fun!EVERYONE WAS HILARIOUS!<3 <3 <3“Nick and I wanted something that reminded us of home and of us as a couple so we did a fire with s’mores during the reception because we love to sit in our back yard with our dog (Copper wasn’t allowed at the venue, but still got pictures with him).”
– Loved this!!!Jordin and Nick, I can’t say enough about you two! This day was a BLAST and so much fun to photograph. You two make such a beautiful couple and are seriously the kindest people! Thank you, THANK YOU for letting me be a part of it all!
To many, MANY more years of happiness ahead!HUGS!
Thank you to my 2nd Genevieve for all of your help! Loved getting this photo : You two are the apples of MY eye! 😉
I’d say most of my weddings are always referrals from past couples, WHICH IS AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU ALL FOR IT! Jordin and Nick heard about me from these two beautiful people, Becca & Jason. Thank you lovelies! It means more than I can every say! 😉
