Courtney + Richard : Summer Wedding at County Line Apple Orchard

A beautifully sunny day full of vibrant colors, cowboy boots, and LOTS of epic dance moves!

I love being able to photograph at County Line Orchard (and not just because of the donuts) 😉 and I was so excited when I first heard that Courtney and Richie were getting married there. Even more so, I was beyond grateful that County Line referred me!  That meant so much!

After meeting these two, I could not imagine a more perfect location for their wedding day.  When I first started talking with Courtney, it felt like we were just old friends catching up.  Then after meeting them as a couple over drinks, I knew they would be the most easy going and trusting duo to photograph.  And that they were!  Bring in the sweetest group of people to support them as their wedding party, and you get the perfect wedding.

As they stated in their wedding survey :  “Weather was perfect, food was awesome! Everyone had a wonderful time!” Their dance floor was one of the most fun to witness…so much so that I myself joined in…a LOT!

I’m so excited to share this day!

READ A LITTLE ABOUT COURTNEY & RICHIE :

Q.  When did you meet? Where?   Through friends and family. It was a friend’s campfire, we were set up.

Q.  When did you get engaged? Where?   We went to Barbados in July 2018. We had reservations for dinner on the beach. Although we had a terrible flight experience getting there and missed the first day, we rescheduled the dinner and he asked me on the beach.

Q.  How did you start your wedding planning process?

I asked my wiser married family and friends for help first.

Q.  How did you choose your wedding venue?

We knew we wanted a rustic atmosphere that was local so the options were limited. We really loved the first barn we toured so we had to just go with their availability. We ended up having it on a Friday which turned out great.

Q.  What was your favorite thing about your wedding day?

Having a ton of fun with all of the people we love. Weather was perfect, food was awesome! Everyone had a wonderful time!

Q. What was your first dance song?
Richie and I danced to Head Over Boots by Jon Pardi. Richie and his mother danced to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. My father and I danced to a trio medley of Don’t stop believing by Journey, Wild Night by John Mellencamp, and Don’t Blink by Kenny Chesney. I danced with my stepfather to Stand by Me by Ben E King

Q. What was your favorite thing about your wedding day?

Having a ton of fun with all of the people we love. Weather was perfect, food was awesome! Everyone had a wonderful time!

Q.  What is one thing about your spouse that many people might not know? Any funny, sweet, silly stories?

He ripped his pants dancing at the wedding! It was funny and I don’t think anyone knew the whole night.

Q. Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We went to Seattle! We both had never been and it was amazing!

Q.  Can you give any advice for future couples planning a wedding?

I know it can be very stressful but once you get to the day, make the most of it! Once the planning is over, it is most likely the best day you’ll have with everyone you love! Also, I recommend having a videographer so you can relive some of the best/funniest moments!

THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

Now enjoy their story…
