I LOVE getting to travel and see old friends. When it involves taking pictures of their entire family, it’s even more fun. I’ve photographed Gina, her husband Travis, and kids many times before. This time, I was asked to photograph her extended family and kids. Every family is unique and different and so every session I photograph is equally exciting. This one involved 5 grandchildren, 4 parents, and 2 grandparents. Did I mention there was also a surprise proposal???
Here is :
DAVE + DEBBIE + GINA + TRAVIS + JOHN + CONNOR + WES + AMBER + MADDOX + GIA + VIVIAN

The afternoon started out like any normal day during the week.
The kids immediately ran to the back room and started playing while the adults ate and hung out.
The last time I had been to Gina’s parent’s home was for her wedding back in 2008! It was cool to be back to photograph her with her family. 🙂
After some food and relaxing, we headed out to photograph Gina, Travis, John, and Connor.
Gina’s brother Wes wanted pictures of his ‘then‘ girlfriend, ‘now‘ fiance Amber and their kids.
When I was flying to see them all Gina told me he had planned to propose already. I quickly mentioned the idea that he should wait until I got there so I could photograph it!
After a little bit of planning, we told Amber we would start family pictures with just the two of them…One thumbs up later from me behind the camera and down on one knee Wes went!It was PERFECT!!!
Amber had no clue he would propose in front of everyone, so it was an awesome surprise!
Everyone ran down the hill to congratulate them and SEE THE RING! 😉
Auntie Gina kept the kids busy. <3🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you all for such a wonderful visit and for making such amazing memories!
Congratulations to Wes and Amber on your engagement! I can’t wait to hear more about your wedding plans.
Dave & Debbie, thank you for letting us use your gorgeous home for pictures!
Gina & Travis, thank you for hosting and for the visit! I can’t wait to see you all again soon.
Until next time,
